Our WhatsApp number is publicly listed on this website. That means anyone can message us for any type of request — but it also means scammers can message us. And they do. A lot.
Most scam messages start like this:
“Hello, I need your help.”
“Are you available?”
“I have an urgent request.”
If you send a message like that, it may be ignored — not because we don’t want to help, but because we may take it as noise.
Why we need a filter
Every day, we receive messages from real people who need help in China:
– Recovering lost items (AirPods, bags, phones, documents)
– Coordinating pickups or deliveries
– Communicating with hotels, train stations, or businesses in Chinese
– Verifying information locally
– Any other errand that requires someone on the ground in China
And every day, we also receive messages from scammers. Without a filter, it is hard to tell the difference. So we created one simple rule.
To get our attention, put this word in your first two lines
When you send a message on WhatsApp, the app shows a short preview — especially if your message is long. If the first two lines contain our filter word, we will see it immediately.
The filter word is: `errandschina`
Example of a message that works
errandschina
I need someone to go to a hotel in Guangzhou, pick up a package left at the front desk, and ship it to me in Singapore. Please quote for this if you can help.
That message will be read and responded to.
What to include after the filter word
Once you have `errandschina` in your first two lines, help us help you faster by including:
– What you need (pickup, shipping, contacting someone, verification, etc.)
– Where in China (city, specific location like hotel name or address)
– Where you are now (country, for shipping purposes)
– Any relevant details (dates, tracking numbers, contact names, etc.)
The more specific you are, the faster we can respond with a real plan.
We start with small actions — a phone call, a check with a location, a quote from a courier — so you know we’re real before you pay anything.
Summary
- Put `errandschina` in the first two lines
- Describe what you need help with
- Tell us where in China
- Start with verification — then payment
